Like Everything AT THE MOMENT, Barral NZ courses, teachers and participants have been impacted by Covid -19, SEE THE LINKS BELOW TO OUR LATEST NEWSLETTERS AND WORDS FROM ROSIE.

We have decided to continue with more online sessions, this time four VM2 Study Groups on the following dates in June and July.

VM2 Study Group – all sessions start at 7.30pm NZ time and will run for one hour

  • Monday 8th June

  • Monday 22nd June

  • Monday 6th July

  • Monday 20th July

(Your attendance at a previous live VM2 class is a pre-requisite for attending these sessions.)

It still feels right in the current circumstances to offer these four sessions free-of-charge, to provide therapists with the opportunity to develop more understanding of Jean-Pierre Barral’s work, and to continue to connect as alumni in the online space. There may be a small change for any future online sessions that I arrange.

TO REGISTER for the VM2 Study Group sessions, email and attach a copy of your VM2 certificate, or the highest VM certificate you have.

      I.A.H.P Update from USA.
There are new online learning opportunities you are welcome to look at and try out if you fit the perquisites for each workshop.

Barral Institute Interconnected is an exceptional opportunity to explore practical applications of interconnectedness of the body and its systems. The event is being run live on Saturday 30 May, and Saturday 6 June, at 12-3pm Eastern Time Zone (USA), and recorded & re-run on Saturday 6 June and Saturday 13 June from 9am-12pm Singapore Time Zone.

There are two segments with three sessions in each. Perspective (which runs on the first day) features Annabel Mackenzie (so familiar to us here in New Zealand) who will be running a session called ‘Understanding Jean-Pierre Barral’s Evaluation Process’. In the Practice segment on the second day of each event, Damian Kitcheman will be teaching ‘Embryology of the Fascia of Toldt and its Application to Colon Function’.

Anatomy Series – Virtual Events with Live Instructors is another programme from Barral Institute International, with a series of four sessions focused on in-depth discussion with a visceral perspective. The presentations are designed to enrich your knowledge and enhance your practice with a greater understanding of organ specific fascial and soft tissue connections and their connection to pain and dysfunction.

I am honoured to be instructing VM Abdomen Part 1 on June 14 2020 12-3pm, Eastern Time.
