Registration Terms & Conditions

By using this website to register for a course, the registrant is agreeing to the Terms and Conditions as outlined below.

 

Course Booking Conditions

 

All registrations must be accompanied by a minimum $200 deposit (paid within 7 days of making the booking) to guarantee a place on a course at the advertised rate. Final outstanding amount is due on the balance due date as detailed on your invoice.

 

Failure to pay the outstanding amount on time may forfeit your place on the course and/or change the rate of the course fee (e.g. If the Earlybird rates aren't paid by the cut off date, your registration reverts back to the full course price).

 

If you have a discount voucher - only one voucher per course is accepted.

Course Cancellation or Transfer Policy

 

Cancellations or transfers made 3 weeks or more prior to the start of the course will be subject to a $50.00 NZD administration fee which will be deducted from your course fee.

 

Cancellations or transfers made less than 3 weeks prior to the start of the course will be subject to a $100.00 NZD administration fee which will be deducted from your course fees to be transferred or refunded.

 

Prepayments & deposits, less the administration fee may be transferred to other courses/dates as above.

 

The Barral Institute New Zealand reserves the right to cancel any course, in which case all money already paid, will be refunded in full.

 

A course may be postponed, in which case all money already paid will be transferred to the next occurrence of the course within 12 months. If there is no equivalent course held within 12 months, all money already paid will be refunded in full.

YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

The Barral Institute of New Zealand does not collect personally identifiable information on our website, such as your name, address, e-mail address or telephone number, without your knowledge. Such information is collected only when you knowingly and voluntarily submit it to us (as, for example, when you contact us via e-mail or join up for a course). The Barral Institute of New Zealand uses such voluntarily submitted information for the purposes for which it was submitted. 
The personal information you submit when placing your order is treated as confidential. We use this information to process your transaction, and we share the information with Visa, Mastercard in order to process your order.

PHOTOPRAPHY DISCLAIMER

Barral Institute of New Zealand may take photos in class to use for promotional purposes.

The photos are modest and no sensitive areas of a body are photographed. The course attendee must advise upon booking if they do not consent or wish to be included in the photos.

 

WE USE COOKIES

Cookies allow The Barral Institute of New Zealand to remember you. If we didn't use cookies you would have to enter your details each time you visited. If you really prefer not to use cookies you can set your browser preferences to not accept cookies. Most websites however, including The Barral Institute of New Zealand , require cookies to process your orders.

 

TRENDS, TRACKING AND SHARING INFORMATION

The Barral Institute of New Zealand uses standard software for monitoring statistical information such as how many visitors we have to our websites and what countries they are coming from. These statistics are viewed on an aggregate basis and help us get general overviews of customer trends. We do not look at individual customer data. Personal information is treated as strictly confidential and will only be reviewed or examined in the event of a dispute, claim error or customer request.

 

SECURITY

Customer and order information or course registration information is emailed directly to our order centre. When we receive your information, it is stored in a secure location in our office so that it can only be accessed by us.

 

CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS

​

All online transactions are processed in NZ dollars. If you are buying from outside of New Zealand the price advertised might not be the same price charged to the credit card account due to exchange rate fluctuations. This means that because we are based in New Zealand we have to convert your purchase to New Zealand dollars at the exchange rate on the day it is processed. Paypal payments can be used through an authorized paypal account OR as a Guest if you do not have an account
